if you think u are creative and are happy to give life to things and make the world a beautiful place no matter what you will find and spread beauty
off course to name the talent there is a need to get into a high class institute
but don't worry you will get into a great place but you have to do one thing .. that is just chill and make sure you are in a good mood
as your know designers work best when happy
so chill out and paper will be easy...
and if not this exam then life will definitely give your a million opportunities
better that worse. You should cope up and get a degree and in the end creative people just give life to even dead things
so life has to be enjoyed..

CEPT b.plan and cons.tech

this exam is not more of my interest but still the type of questions is more of planning oriented
but yes there is drawing
the relative view drawing
and of course the paper has mathematics and general knowledge question

remember to revise your maths formulae and polish your g.k
and drawing paper is easy


for construction technology
there are papers given differently after some break
1. mathematics (60 mins)
2. gk(more of contruction knowledge)
3. aptitude
and then 2 drawing
1. a scene
2. transformation of anything

Dear student JUST CHILL OUT
even though things on the net are not free regarding your queries
I had decided to post this when I got messed up while what I should expect in the exam
believe me this exam was one of the amazing experience I had in my entire life
JUST ENJOY IT

we had 3 papers
generally speaking 1 one had questions that are more typical and 2 had completing a picture and 3 had still life and making a model

MAKE SURE  you are clear with basic physics concepts (I got two questions regarding this)
I got the following questions and this is out of sequence and I might miss one or two of the questions but I am sure this will be enough to make you relax about the pattern
so lets begin:
1. here is a picture of a spoon with is used to hang clothes but apart from this give 10 other things you can do with it
2. using a principle of physics draw an illusion and explain it below
3. draw atleast 6 houseold things small to big
4. transformation of  something with time in 3 stages
5. draw a picture of you in different way
6. one trigonometric question
7.there was a growth question
    (try to visualise this now : like bacteria grows branch by branch like a pattern... ummm like completing the sequence but by drawing)
and some more

now next paper was completing the picture
 and the final and third paper was about making a composition with some of the available things and sketch it as a still life
and make one working model using a physics principle

it is competitive exam but
do it while your are chilled out!
one thing I will be able to tell that the paper will be super amazing
just enjoy it and give your best shot

This is what kind of questions i got for NATA

As a million websites will be able to tell you how NATA is
how it is divided into two parts of equal weightage
I want to share the questions I got for nata because as I did not join any coaching and when I had to give NATA I chose to browse on the internet
but definitely the coachings have so much got into this profession that almost nothing is free
so I wanted to open this blog and make all the nata paper clear
the funny part is many students who took coaching scored less than me :D

first the examiner started with the drawing test
and I had three questions for 100 marks
1. you are standing on a roadside fruit juice shop with your friends. Draw what you see
2. using circles triangles and rectangles draw a logo for water pool by water pool association and represent each shape with a color.
3. draw what you see: there is a dining table and a tiffin and a glass bottle on it top and a spoon .


on discussing with my friends I have come to a conclusion
that basically the pattern is
relative scene > logo > still life

now the examiners gave me the online test
this is what shocked me the most which I was not sure about it before the examiner game me instructions
THERE IS A TIME LIMIT FOR EACH QUESTION I.E 60 SECONDS FOR EACH QUESTION
you have to be good at speed while doing this
reading the question and the answer options and then answering and click submit button
make sure all this is in 60 seconds
specially complete the sequence , what number comes next , these kind of questions

now when I gave my exam I chose to work on individual areas
and during this I came across a website :

now next come what kind of questions I got for part 2
so I don't remember exactly but yes
I had complete the sequence of logical figures
more of like aptitude test
then I had questions like
they gave me a picture and asked where it was (they mostly ask about Mughal architecture)
mine was fatehpur sikri
and then  they had sketched out the texture of some materials and asked what it is
like I got jute(rough finish)

It is easy if you have worked on your speed
I scored 99 without any help


BUT IF YOU WANT TO JOIN CEPT.
you have to score above 120 in nata and above 80% in your boards
so that the 50:50 ratio comes out to be more than 50
but I think even this is less
if you have outstanding marks then only go for it!

  
Don't worry it is easy and you will handle it.. on the day of exam be happy calm and make sure all your colours and pencils and everything is in your bag pack and chill out and enjoy the exam
and just believe in yourself
if your are creative you will show the world you are!
and yes do practise sketching of human figures and faces, they are readily available on the youtube
